Sustainable

McGann has a long standing history of "green building" practices. We implemented separate dumpsters for recycling concrete, wood, cardboard, paper products many years before it became the popular model we have today.

Coachyard Square won the Orchid Award in 2001 for recycling, resulting in a 40% reduction in landfill waste. In 2008, Troy Gardens received national recognition winning The Home Depot Award of Excellence for Affordable Housing Built Responsibly.

Sustainable design and construction is weaved into our culture here at McGann. We have a goal of recycling 75% of construction waste and we work closely with the design team to incorporate responsible design into each project. It is a good feeling to know that our approach is improving the health of our clients and reducing the costs of operation.
