The completion of our Allied Family Center was a dream come true for the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County. I am writing to convey my sincere gratitude for a job well done by McGann Construction. The office staff, management team and field staff all played important roles in the execution and successful completion of the two projects we developed last year in Wausau and West Allis. Your on-site supervisors carefully balanced being sensitive to our elderly and disable residents while making sure to complete the job ahead of schedule by nearly 2.5 months. The is quite an achievement.

I have worked with a number of other quality general contracting companies in the thirteen years that I have been doing project management for developers/owners - but I have never been as wholly impressed with an organization as I am with McGann Construction. Each of the individual employees that I dealt with gave the sort of extra effort that exhibits personal pride in the work they do. I wish to commend McGann for its post construction follow up. Often after a job is complete, it is virtually impossible to get the same level of attention. That was not the case with McGann. I would recommend McGann to any of my associates looking for a large-scale remodeling or new construction contractor.

Over the years, we have worked with McGann Construction on several different building sites and each time they have continued to impress us in so many ways. Everybody at McGann, from management to the on site crew members have always been easy to work with and very accommodating. Your team has always managed to remain flexible, highly responsive to our needs, and respectful of our staff and their requests. Great effort has always been put forth in finishing a project on time and on budget. Our company feels that the construction of Cortland Pond has gone extremely well, but what has impressed us the most are the people who make up McGann Construction. They are a truly caring and considerate group of individuals who are dedicated to doing a good job.

McGann Construction has planned a critical role as General Contractor of this project. They have embraced the unusual features of Troy Gardens and have never failed to push hard to execute this project. Project Manager Aaron Kostichka has consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, working to keep the project on time and within budget, while incorporating a complex mixture of standard and nonstandard construction features.

Site Superintendent Scott Hanko has brought a rare mixture of flexibility, strong technical and supervisory skills and an unerring sense of humor to the project. Many of his subcontractors were working with systems they had not installed before, including solar hot water and PV systems, energy recovery ventilators, etc--and where each of these systems needed to dovetail with all the other aspects of construction.

Homes were build within a very aggressive construction timeframe (30 units in less than 12 months) to a very high standard of workmanship.

When I think of the complexity of the project, coupled with the compressed construction timetable, I simply cannot imagine how we would have been as successful as we have been without the work of McGann Construction.

And as we look forward to building the LEED-certified Nature Education Center at Troy Gardens in 2009, we know that we will have a strong partner in that project with McGann Construction as well.

I'm writing this letter to you to say, "Thanks" for being a top notch builder at City View Condominiums in Sun Prairie.

City View Condominium hasn't been the easiest project. In fact, as the condominium market slowed down and our sales stalled, McGann has been very understanding and worked with us to accommodate our situation.

On behalf of the Sunshine Place Board of Directors, I wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the job McGann Construction did in helping us accomplish the project of the Sunshine Place. It was a true pleasure working with your group over the last year. We could not be more thankful for choosing the right contractor for this project.

You have tremendous personnel and should be proud of the work they did on the Sunshine Place. The PM (Andy Wojnicz) worked very well with us on time lines, ordering, status, issues, etc. When a change was necessary, it wasn't a surprise or a burden. He made the process very smooth and was always there when we needed him. Also, Tom Hicks, the foreman on the project was as pleasant of a contractor you could ask for. He worked very hard, and was willing to sept away when necessary to answer questions or help come up with creative thoughts during construction.

Overall, McGann followed through exactly as you said you would and we are thankful for the generosity you showed us for the project. It was a job well done and on budget.

Marathon Housing Association has been involved in a rehabilitation project involving all our rental properties. We have 176 apartments in fifteen buildings located in nine communities in Western Marathon County... McGann Construction was chosen to be the general contractor based on their previous experience. Aaron Kostichka of McGann Construction was the manager assigned to this project. His estimates of the project work and cost were very accurate.... Three onsite job superintendents were assigned to our project, Mike Hilgendorf, Gary Kaschinske and Gene Stormer. All three of these men are professionals. They kept the project on schedule. They had their project under control. All the subs knew what, when and where they were to be. They had ideas and answers for all situations that came up. Most of all, they were extremely considerate of our elderly tenants. Most tenants got to be known on a first name basis by them. Sometimes, tenants would make suggestions that were implemented in the remodeling. These men were excellent. They did it as if it were their own. McGann Construction has the personnel and knowledge to handle this type of work. They are able to plan, implement and complete this type of project in an efficient, cost effective manner.

I am writing to convey my appreciation and thanks for the wonderful performance by your company on Bayside Commons Condominium project....Your company was everything I had hoped for when I selected a general contractor. The attention to detail, professionalism and quality of workmanship by your people is evident throughout. At both of our YMCA expansion and renovation projects it was essential that we were able to keep our facilities open throughout the construction process. We accomplished this goal because of the excellent communication and planning by McGann Construction.

As you know, the project was undertaken utilizing the design-build negotiated construction method. There are always issues that arise in the course of constructing a project like ours, but in all instances your team came up with great solutions. Probably the greatest testimony to the success of a new development is what the residents of the project think. Since completion of the project, the single largest source of new tenants has been through referrals from tenants who reside in the property and from others knowledgeable about the project as well. This only happens if the tenants are happy with their surroundings. Family members and friends are seeing and hearing good things. McGann joined the Brennan's project on Watts Road early in the design phase. During all phases of the project we experienced a congenial and cooperative relationship with their staff. Once construction began, we felt that McGann project staff and field workers were working for Brennan's to build a store we all could be proud of. If something did not seem right on the plans they brought it to our attention, giving us alternatives and discussing solutions. McGann Construction was selected as general contractor for Porchlight's 16 unit apartment building on Pheasant Ridge Trail in the Town of Madison. The project was unique in that it was to provide durable low-cost housing for homeless disabled persons, it incorporated unique photovoltaic and solar water heating to conserve energy use and it was constructed with special features to minimize maintenance costs. McGann accomplished all of these objectives. The project was completed under budget and on time. Any issues that arose were addressed in a positive, professional manner. The superintendent, Gary Kaschinske, was awesome. He often times was out working in the building instead of sitting around. We would highly recommend McGann and architect Knothe & Bruce for any project and will undoubtedly be using them in the future as we develop housing for those in the greatest need.

I am writing to acknowledge a job well done at the Fort Community Credit Union in Jefferson, WI. McGann Construction went well beyond the call of duty to insure that the outcome was excellent. The Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development has worked with McGann Construction since 1999. Lutheran Church of the Living Christ (LCLC) selected McGann Construction, Inc. in 1996 as the general contractor for a $1.6 million sanctuary addition project. Besides functioning as the general contractor, they participated extensively in our design and bidding process and worked closely with our architect and building committee.
